Actress Susan Sarandon's clothing -- or lake thereof -- caused quite a stir at Saturday's SAG Awards. She wore nothing but a cleavage-baring bra under a white jacket, a look some deemed inappropriate given that she presented the in memoriam segment of the show. And I'm among them. My wife is currently on a diet and has already lost a good 8 pounds. While I commend her for eating healthily and making a stronger effort to hit the gym, I often remind her that I'd prefer she not shed too much weight. Based on what I've heard -- and a few studies support this -- women generally don't care about how well endowed their partners are. To give you an apt metaphor, instead of what's under the hood, women are more interested in how well the car runs. So if size really doesn't matter, why do so many men assume that women desire a man with a big package? Men, being the visual creatures that we are, typically have no qualms about voicing their preference for women with bigger "assets" -- whether they be bigger breasts or butts.
