Why wait until tomorrow to take a risk that can improve your life for the better?
Whether it's applying for your dream position at another company or opening your heart again to someone after a bad breakup, you can't allow the fear of failure to paralyze you from taking action.
Otherwise, you'll be left wondering what could have happened while someone else lands a great position or partner that could have been yours.
Don't let negativity get in the way of your dreams. We only have one life to live on earth, so why not pursue our goals at full throttle?
Rather than focus on what could go wrong, concentrate on what can -- on what will -- go right.
I won't lie to you and say it'll be easy. Yes, you're likely to come up short -- multiple times. Yes, there will be days where nothing seems to go right and the easiest thing would be to throw in the towel.
But if we didn't have to struggle to achieve what we want in life, would it feel as rewarding in the end? Probably not. They're called challenges for a reason.
There's no better feeling than looking back on something we've accomplished and saying "it was all well worth it." While we're in that rough patch, though, our efforts can seem in vain.
That's why it pays huge dividends to be forward-looking and remind yourself that the sweat and tears of today are the price we pay for the sense of joy and satisfaction that will come later on. To get there, though, we have no choice but to stick it out, work hard, and not let setbacks derail us.
And one other important point: The word "failure" is thrown around way too loosely. Failure doesn't mean that you didn't accomplish what you set out to do. It means that you didn't try or gave up too easily.
It's better to regret doing something than regret not doing something and be left feeling as if you let a great opportunity slip by.
Don't wait another minute. Come out of your comfort zone and take a risk! Not only will you grow as a person, but you'll be more inclined to do it again in the future -- all because you realized that you have what it takes to achieve amazing things. Don't ever doubt yourself! No guts, no glory.
